Fendant is a wine originating from a selection of chasselas. This wine has discovered its ideal soil and climate in Valais. It produces a „floral” wine with a strong bouquet and possesses a delicate fruity flavour. A highly drinkable wine.
A light yellow colour with slight grey and greenish sheen; the nose is of vine and linden blossom, and a mineral and gunflint perfume; it is a fine and light, fruity, harmonious, easy-to-drink wine which is slightly fizzy.
An aperitif wine which goes ideally with cheese dishes, including raclette as well as with hard cheeses; it is also an ideal accompaniment for fine-meat.

In central Valais, especially in the Sierre region, this Burgundy vine has discovered calcareous soils and a climate which have enabled it to develop its immense qualities of structure and aroma, with unrivalled finesse.
A frank red colour with black and bluish sheen; its cherry and ripe raspberry perfume is slightly smoky; it is noble and powerful on the palette, progressively emitting blackcurrant and violet flavours when the tannin fades.
It accompanies most sorts of red and white meat, especially roasts; it goes very well with hard and semi-hard cheeses.
